I hope this finds you doing well and staying safe. As always prayers are with every one affected by the wildfires and excessive heat. 🙏
In my Friday July 30th Post I had shown a new project that I was working on. The Rectangle Granny Scarf. I actually finished it fairly quick and really enjoyed the yarn ,I used Lion Brand Cotton Candy Blend. Refer to previous post for the pattern and blog of the Designer The Unraveled Mitten.
I hoped I caught the yellow, green and red colors plus the sparkle in the 1st photo.
5 rows from center to edge on each side = 1 skein with a little left over turned out to be 5 -1/2 inches wide and 66 inches long.
Next up pertaining to the rant about Lion Brand & FedEx. My package which was the Mystery Box of #4 & #5 weight yarns showed up at my local PO on Saturday July 31st. There were still no updates on shipping for 10 days. As I said before I haven't had a problem until now with Lion Brand or my orders but I am thinking from now on, I'll just find Lion Brand yarns elsewhere due to the fact I enjoy working with their yarns. This is the package contents which the box was a little worse for wear, it seemed to have been under other much heavier boxes.
I now have the Green, Red and Black of the Twisted Cotton yarn. Those may end up being a lot of hand towels & Wash cloths since it is 100% cotton. The Rewind Tape Yarn, I'm still deciding on what to do with it and the other Ice Cream Cotton Blend. Not sure about that either, The yarn was in good shape considering the condition of the box.
