New to me company from The United States- Motocraft Art and Designs - Review

 Hello Ya'll,

I hope that this finds you doing well and staying safe despite all the craziness going on in the world. My thoughts and prayers are going out to those affected by the fires  out in the West and to those dealing with the hurricanes down in the South. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

                                                    MOTOCRAFT ART AND DESIGNS

                                                          ^^^LINK to WEBSITE^^^

I found a "new to me" company that is located in The United States. They are a new company from what I understand and  I  have to say I like them after ordering for the first time this month.

I ordered a Panda diamond painting on Sept. 16th and it arrived on Monday Sept 21st. Very Fast shipping which I really like.  I haven't started it yet but hoping to maybe next month. I'm currently trying to work on 1 at a time and have a large one I am working on now.

I think this sleeping Panda is so cute I just had to have it. I really want to start working on it but I am holding to only doing 1 at a time due to storage issues for the drills. Looks like I'm going to need to invest in more storage and need to look at all my options due to budget.

                                                                  Sleeping Panda

                                                               ^^Link to Panda^^

This canvas is very clear and it's easy to read all the symbols. It comes with the standard tool kit that will allow you to complete the diamond painting. It also comes with more than enough drills  to complete the Diamond Painting. I'll do another review on it once I start working on it.

The canvas isn't blurry. My old camera caused the blurriness!

She also includes a diamond painting log sheet to use and her business card. Thank you so much Samantha for including the sheet and business card! I appreciate the time she took to package it so well.

This is one of a few companies that I do RECOMMEND for you to go to for reasonably priced diamond paintings. She also  sells Diamond Painting Accessories and Paint-By-Number Kits and there's also a clearance link on the home page and from what I see she will be making T-Shirts soon!

Defintiely go by and check her shop out and show her some love :)

                                                                 That's all for now

                                                                  Until Next Time.....

Happy Stitching and Diamond Painting and May you have smokin' needles...xxx

Diamond Dotz from Hobby Lobby

 Hello all,

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe despite all the craziness in the world right now.

My thoughts and prayers are with  all those affected and fighting the wild fires out west. 🙏🙏

I had went with a friend of mine from work to Hobby Lobby and introduced her to diamond painting,

She does crafts like I do but different ones, she's really good with string art, crocheting and tatting plus she does cross stitch. I showed her the diamond dotz and explained a little about diamond painting and she purchased a small one to try and said she finished it in 1 night & enjoyed it. Not sure if she will continue the craft though, we've been busy at work and I haven't had much of a chance to actually talked to her about it.

So onto what I purchased and finished just recently after I had finished a couple of more recent wips

This one is called Midnight Cat. Round drills and a partial. The canvas is poured glue and was very sticky. I really don't have a preference, I'll work on poured glue or double sided adhesive, I haven't had a problem with either one. This one in particular had very little trash drills as well. I do have another coming from another company that is located in the United States, I'm slowly finding companies that are state side. More on that company in a seperate post...

Midnight Cat - 14.99 and was 40% off. I don't have my receipt handy at this moment for a final total.

left over drills pictured above ^^
                                                      trash drills ^ ^ ^

This one was really easy to work on and it reminds me of a cat my mom use to have. R.I.P DC I called him deechee. Mean cat who didn't like his head touched but my mom could do whatever she wanted to do to him lol

I have a couple of more finishes that I will be posting later on.

Meanwhile.....

Happy stitching and may you have smokin' needles...xxx

I hope that you stay safe, stay well and be kind to all please.

Much love and hugs.....

Diamond Painting Company Review- Free Diamond Painting

  9-19-2020                                          Finished! Finally!
                                                          The Happy House

Since this is a small one it looks better from afar. I would recommend a larger size for more details. I didn't have any problems completing this and plenty of left over drills.
More updates on other dp's later.

info on this one listed below
I started back on this one and have had no problems so far with drills or the canvas. It's going smooth... Another update soon as I will be working on this small one until I have it finished.

Hello all,

I hope this finds everyone doing well and that you are staying safe, healthy and cool.

Right now here on the East Coast we have our first Hurricane coming in. We need the rain but not so much the wind and the damage it can cause.

This is a early review of a company that I purchased a diamond painting from.
I like this company so far and as far as the DP it's going great. I've had it since July 27th but had not worked on it until the other evening.

MAKE SURE IN THE TITLE THAT IT SAYS SHIPS FROM THE USA.

This one was free. I just paid shipping $9.95
                                                       Ordered on July 20th, 2020
                                                       Shipped on July 20th,2020
                                                       Received on July 27th, 2020
                                                          Total days in transit- 7

                                                           Link to 15% off
                                                       Expires 08 August, 2020

                                              Company - FreeDiamondPainting

                                                        I ordered  The Happy House
                                                        PICTURE FROM WEBSITE

They state this on their website : Please make sure your item says Ships from USA in the title to guarantee your item will come from the USA.
I got the 20 x 20cm  and it has 20 colors. I got the square and have to say
these are not crowded and so far there's no popping drills. It's going pretty good.

I've done a little on it just so I could do a review on the Company.

There is a little gapping but it isn't bad. It is double-sided adhesive.
I bought on clearance 2"x3" clear baggies and the tacky line runner by Aleene at my local Michaels

So in good faith I CAN RECOMMEND this company. I may order from them again in the near future

Until Next Time...
Happy Stitching and May you have smokin' needles...xxx

Diamond Painting wax/putty/mud review

Hello All,

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and cool. It's been hot here with temps in the 90's with heat indexs of 102-107. I am hoping it will cool down soon. What's it like where you are?

I've spent the evening diamond painting , working on The Happy House from Free Diamond Painting and working with 4 different wax/putty/mud. I've ranked them 1 - 4 with 1 being my go to wax for diamond painting.

Diamond Painting Waxes/Putty/Mud

Left to Right, Left being #1
#1   is that WAX from MetalHeadsDP

This one has worked the best and longest for me. I would recommend this shop. They have other fragrances as well. I prefer Rustic Forest. Light fragrance with this wax if you like a light fragrance I would go with this one.
#1 Pen is from EnablersOutpost

#2  is a small sample wax from Diamond Art Supply   She sent the sample when I ordered the sparkly dp pen from her. I like the pen as well as the wax ,the pen is light weight and easy on the hands to hold. In my opinion it works just as good as that WAX so I can recommend this shop to anyone who is interested. She sells many fragrant waxes for a decent price. The smell isn't strong either so if you like a light fragrance I would go with this one as well.

#3 was sent as a sample as well when I ordered the Red Fairy and Purple Fairy from Diamond Painting Bliss
This is museum putty and it works good  with no residue however it is hard to load the pen. I had to pinch off a piece and push it in the pen tip. Not a big fan of it but I can say it works, that's just my opinion. Some may like it, some may not. #3 pen is from Enabler's Outpost on Etsy.

And Last is #4 this one reminds me of pink wax but with a fragrance. It lasted about as long as pink wax( that comes in the diamond painting kits) does and is the same consistency and color as the standard pink wax. While it smells good, I really don't think I will purchase any more. Some people really like it and I am not knocking those who do. This my OWN opinion about working with it.
This wax is from Whimsical Daisys and is called Notcher Mama's Mud. I just checked the shop and she doesn't have any listed right now as of this post.
The pen is from Pentastic Painters and is called Black Licorice. I didn't see this exact pen listed but they have listed some really nice halloween pens as well as other colors, so I would recommend going on over and checking the Mother & Daughter team out. They are really sweet ladies.

Until Next Time...

Happy Stitching and may you have smokin' needles...xxx

BishopBird by Goodnessfind finished!

Update on Goodnessfind Bishop Cardinal and Review on another company.

**********UPDATE on Bishop Bird aka Cardinal **********

                    ********** BISHOP BIRD FINISHED!**********

Getting there, hopefully some time this next week or next weekend I'll have it finished! It's coming along great, still very little trash drills and no popping drills.

Evening All,

I hope this finds you doing well and staying safe and cool. The heat is in the 80's during the day here, Hasn't quite cooled down enough for me yet.
I wanted to give an update on the Bishop Cardinal from Goodnessfind.
I'm still working on it and so far there's been no popping drills and very little trash drills. I'm liking it a lot and I might find another diamond painting to do from them in the near future. I have several waiting in totes that I want to do first at this time.
I also checked out another company on Etsy for DP accessories and well I'm not impressed with it. I bought 1 DP pen $8 and 2 DP waxes $5.50 each and a couple of cover minders $2.50 each. The cover minders are cute and the dp wax- It reminds me of the pink wax except these have fragrances. They both smell good but  they only last as long as the pink wax you get in the standard tool kit. The pen is well a cheap plastic and while it works good the feather is larger than the pen itself and rest on my hand which irritates the knuckle and I can't use it. It took a while to get here as well. I ordered the 2 coverminders and 1 wax on the 1st of August and the DP pen and other wax on the 5th. They both didn't ship until the 17th and both arrived at the same time on the 20th of August. (info on company will be given in an email if you are interested)

sorry the picture is a little blurry it's a diamond shape^ on the right and ^ little green starbucks mug on the left

Bishop(Cardinal) Bird Progress The DP pen is from Enabler's Outpost on Etsy. I've named it Iced Coffee because it's brown with a cream swirl thru it. that WAX -Rustic Forest is from
MetalheadsDP- that WAX

I really like the DP pens from Enabler's Outpost, they are really good quality pens and fair in price compared to others. And the wax called that WAX is really good, I've been using it exclusively with no problems and I actually placed 2,340 drills before having to refill my pen. Another company that I've bought from more than once.

Until Next Time...
Happy Diamond Painting, Happy Stitching and May you have smokin' needles...xxx
