***Another update. The company has been in contact with me and have issued me a refund. They stated in an email that this has been an ongoing issue with black symbols on dark background and they are trying to work with their printer to get it changed. Until then I wouldn't recommend this DP from the company until they have hopefully resolved the issues. There are other very nice looking DP's on the site that you may want. :) 
***UPDATE- 8-21-2020- I received the replacement diamond painting and in all honesty it isn't any better, dealing with the same issues. I wouldn't recommend buying this particular DP from them in the size 25x25***
I wrote(emailed) the company again and explaining (suggesting) what would work for that canvas. Not sure what they will do at this time

I received this today and have to say I am extremely disappointed in the canvas. You can not read the symbols and everything looks blurry.
The border is the worse of the canvas, Dark colors with black symbols which you can't distinguish one from the other.

I have wrote(emailed) the company and I  am waiting for a response.....
So we shall see what happens IF and WHEN they respond....
Only time will tell.

I in good faith for  my friends and followers can NOT recommend getting this particular diamond painting from them in this size- Round 25cm x 25cm. I would get a larger size.



***August 11th 2020. Still waiting on the replacement canvas. I tried working on this with my light pad and had to use a magnifying glass just to see what the symbols were. I just can't work on the canvas and I am disappointed in that.
I am hoping the canvas they are sending is better than this one otherwise, I'll set it aside and try to find a better one elsewhere. I'll keep you updated....

                             Hello All, I hope you are well and staying safe and cool.

 I don't exactly remember how I found out about this company but I found a diamond painting I really wanted to do. As you all know I absolutely love cardinals whether it be cross stitching or diamond painting.

       I can honestly recommend this company to anyone who would be interested in buying a diamond painting. They also have Paint By Number as well. I believe the diamond paintings are worth the price. I didn't see anything over $20 in that department.

      First after finding the company, I contacted them and ask where they ship from. They were upfront and honest about shipping from China at this time as their warehouse in the United States is closed and any delays there may be. Their usual shipping time is 7-20 days, but given all the craziness it does take a little longer. I found out they ship using China Post. When I found this out I wrote(emailed) them and told them about a problem I was having with China Post and another company that uses that shipper.
  They wrote me back and were willing to find an alternative and did find an alternative.. I was happy with that and the fact they were and are willing to work with people. All you have to do is ask.

 I had ordered the Diamond Painting on the 21st of July. They took the time to intercept the order from China Post and they actually put my order on an express route with another shipping company.  and it was shipped on Aug. 4,2020 and I received it Aug 15,2020.

The canvas arrived in good shape,Easy to see the symbols and the drills(beads)(I chose square instead of round with this one).
The drills(beads) are in individual recloseable baggies with labels which I really like instead of the way some are packaged. I prefer the recloseable.
I just placed a few drills and it is poured glue and super tacky. The standard tool kit was enclosed and I have to say the pink wax is tacky as well. Not like other pink waxes I've received in other diamond paintings. A 6 placer and silver tweezers were also in the tool kit.

 The only thing I can see that I prefer when shipping is maybe using a foam roll to wrap the canvas around to keep the creases or folds out of the canvas. You as I have heard should let the canvas relax a little and you can put it under heavy books or your mattress to help straighten it out. I usually
just let them sit for a few days under books. I start in the top left corner and work across sometimes I work down haven't really decided which way yet. The drills(beads) look to be in good shape as well, no concaved ones that I have found yet.


                                               

 I hope that this review gives you a good idea on the
company. I had a positive experience with them and hope that I can do furture collaborations with them.

this one is broke down in sections of 10x10 = 100 drills each. I've placed 2,340 drills of the 9,220


I am using the pink pen and pink wax that came with the diamond painting and even after placing 2,340 drills I have not had to fill the pen tip with wax , I am guessing because I have a light touch. It's going well and I am really lovin' the progress :)

Diamond Painting & Reviews of Companies thus far

Hello all and thank you for being here and having patience with me during these trying times that we are in. I hope that everyone is healthy and safe...xxx

I've been in a slump lately and haven't been stitching much or even swedish weaving since my last post... So I decided to get a diamond painting back out that I bought on Amazon for $0.01 plus shipping.

It did come from China but the symbols were very clear and I received more than enough drills.
It is a round drill full coverage. I am concerned however about copyright issues  that I have read about recently in Youtube comments with some diamond painting shops that sell them so I may not buy from the particular person again.

I am going to research reputable companies and people from now on IF I decide to get into Diamond Painting on a regular basis. It is quite expensive and I don't want to get up a stash like my cross stitching , #1 not enough room in my craft room at the moment.

Anyhoo this is what I had bought back in Nov. 2019 from Amazon-  The reviews are not so good now  for the person selling items on Amazon so I won't link the shop here. I don't want my followers to have a bad experience....

The name of the Kit is Wolf and it features 4 wolf heads
 The containers  at the top are mine from my  cross stitching bead collection that I haven't yet filled up. The drills come in plastic bags attached to each other but no small baggies to store them in so they will stay in those for now. There is more than enough wax for the pen. I filled it 3 times total.

I just finished it tonight and did a modge podge seal on it. I'll need to find something better to seal them with in the future.

I have purchased 3 more and did receive one which I am going to show next and will link the company website. I'm impressed with this company because they put in the title shipped from the USA or US and it does ship from Nevada-if it doesn't say SHIP FROM THE US in the title then it ships from China(YT is the first letters of the tracking number which is YUNExpress , never heard of this shipping company so we shall see when the tool upgrade kit comes in- as of this evening it was processing, I ordered both on the 8th of this month and received the diamond kit on Saturday the 13th- 2 days before it was originally due to show up!!!

 ** June 21,2020 As I was typing this apparently the company was sending a reply to me on 1 I sent from the site thru email stating this:

Upon checking, your order is still in process.
Please allow 2-4 weeks for your order to be delivered.
Once the item ships and tracking number is available, we will send you an email.

****8-17-2020 This company kept giving me the run around about my order. 2 months in and no DP.                      Kept telling me at least 3 times it would be 3-4 weeks and then silence.

I want people to know some issues. The diamond paintings I have seen from this company do look good in the pictures I've seen. My concern is the customer service and receiving the products. The money comes out of your account right away but they won't ship right away like they state they will.
The place I ordered from stated it ships from the USA however after reading thru some comments in a group , they seem to come from China. Also states fast shipping. I have not heard anything from the company at all even though I emailed them twice once thru a reply from the order receipt and found another email on the website  so I emailed that. Quite a few people are/were in their "club" but have stated that they haven't received the Jan. Feb. March club boxes. A few stated that they haven't received their orders at all and it's been months since they ordered. Apparently the company has been in business for 2 years and is run by a individual. But yet they hold LIVE videos 3 times a week and will ship those orders immediately. So anyone ordering OFF their website pretty much has to wait months on end and HOPE they get thier orders if they get them at all.

So with all that said. I am out some money possibly and absolutely will NOT order from them again.

This one is Enchanted Rose, some of the symbols are a tad bit hard to see but I can see what they are for the most part, It seems to be a poured glue.

 It was shipped in a white plastic bag and was wrapped with rubber bands

                                                 4 small baggies clearly not enough since it has 20 colors

                                        The paper was bubbled up but not the picture itself

                     
                        Square drills here they all look good no defects that I can tell as of right now

                                         My storage system from Michaels - used my label maker for the numbers
on the original bags as you see in the 3rd photo down the numbers are stamped in black making it difficult to see them.

#2 Ordered is from an Etsy shop under the name CHI456. This I found is also shipping from China which on the website it says Shipped from the United States but I have the YUNExpress tracking number, clearly does NOT ship from the US as it states on shop so again I may not order from this shop again either. I would rather have something that is shipped from the US, just easier to track and if any problems I can at least get restitution.

I can say despite having bad drills from this company, They have been keeping in contact with me about the drills and are sending new ones. Customer service is good. They may take some time to respond but patient is needed. They are professional as well.

I did order from them for the first time on the 8th of this month.  BEFORE reading some comments on Mrs. Crochet & Coffee youtube channel about the company. She did an unboxing from this company but people in the comments had a lot to say about it.

I had not heard anything from the company about my order other than a receipt so I messaged them from their site and gave it 24 hours for a response, heard nothing so I replied on the email receipt that was sent to me I asked when would the order ship, again waited for a reply and got this in a email.

I ordered Forget Me Not Partial Drill 9.5" on the 16th of June and it has shipped on the 18th and I am due to receive it on the 22nd. So far I am impressed with the company. trying to wait patiently lol

DP Company Review- Prestigify

          Still really disappointed with this company. Granted it is a small DP but I don't think I'll be finishing this one. Looks blurred    and most of the drills are concaved and that means they are going to pop off.

First and foremost this is MY experience with this company. I am really unhappy with how this company handles customer service. I did file a complaint with BBB. This company is NOT located in NJ like the website states. They are in B.C.( They have now suddenly moved back to NJ)

          They no longer sell Diamond Paintings. They only sell ART supplies.
           I can NOT in good faith recommend this company. I would not buy from them at all.
           They are listed on TrustPilot as well and many have had issues with the company.

I just received notice(7-30-2020) from BBB that the company responded to their request on my behalf. I have to say that Prestigify lied about a couple of things.

We did not receive any email from the customer as shown on our attachment. We reply within 24 hours to all of ours customer so it is impossible that we missed her email.

Yes that is my other email I use for subscriptions to blogs and for orders I make online :)

First I did send an email on the 27th of July and got no response at all. They stated they did not receive an email from me when I know  they did ( It's in my SENT Folder). I am really upset.

I've seen other reviews on TrustPilot that no they do NOT respond to emails within 24 hours. Some don't get a response at all.
I sent an email stating that my package has been in CHINA since JULY 4TH!! That I wanted a refund and I am done dealing with this.

IT(the package) just now on July 29th showed up in tracking as being in the US.

#2 They said this- Customer placed the order June 25, 2020 and as stated on our website shipping to USA could take up to 21 days. 

Nope not one thing on the website stating 21 days-

Tracking numbers are provided by email after a short processing period.

Really funny now they have sent 2 emails to me about how they are coming back to NJ and focusing only on shipping from the USA. 

I STILL DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

Diamond Painting Review for 3 sellers on Amazon

Hello all

I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and cool despite all the craziness in this world. I'm trying to post more in between work which is going good- new job, no drama, less stressful :) and home life.

                               This is a review of 3 different sellers on Amazon
     While I didn't and don't have any problems with them doesn't mean someone did in the past.

   While on Amazon when I am "shopping" I try to make sure it says Fulfilled by Amazon. I know it                          sounds crazy but you do get your products within days of ordering.

These were ordered on July 19th and Arrived on July 26th(sunday) I picked up on Monday July 27th

#1 is a DP from lxmsja Direct- Daisy in Mason Jars   Haven't started this one. No rivers no bubbles. It's poured glue( usually has the clear cover like below)

#2 is also a larger DP of a smaller version I got that I am having problems with the drills(more on that in another post) these are round drills and working much better than the square on the other one.

                 She's complete! I had so much fun with this one just like I did with the Red Fairy.
                    NOT ASHAMED LOL I ordered another special shape partial DP Fairy.


                  This one was fun and easy to work on and I was done pretty fast with it. there were no trash drills and there is left overs drills which I've bagged and tagged and will keep.
                                                    It's smaller than the Red Fairy.
 I used MINWAX Polycryclic to seal this one because I created a wall hanging instead of framing it.

I took 2 pieces of  quarter inch thick wood and I had planned on making a frame, that didn't work so I am glad I kept the pieces and used some jute string as the hanger.

She's now hanging in my living room.

I recently seen a video of someone doing an opening from a shop on Etsy that sells Diamond Painting Pens and Cover Minders aka NeedleMinders.

                       I purchased a cover minder and diamond painting pen!
                       also ordered another pen and coverminder( photos later on those when I receive them)
They are located in NC and are a Wife and Husband team. They hand make these items and I have to say they have a lot of cute little minders listed. Last time I watched a video of hers aka Elizabeth she stated they MIGHT list twice a week instead of just once on the weekend. when they do list thier pens, they sell fast. Be vigilant and watch the Etsy Shop link listed above as well as Elizabeth announcing the opening on Youtube. Edward makes the pens, the turning and polishing.
               They take great care of packaging and shipping and IF they are going to be late on shipping                    she will contact you. They pay great attention to details in packaging as well. I do believe this company will go far since they do care about their customers as well as the products they sell.
                        Please go check them out! You won't be disappointed!
 

                                 

I didn't get the little organza bag in the photo(top of it showing)Both tags were tied to the organza bag and contained the "Happy Pill" and has a little hand written note with a gold ring on it saying We Appreciate you" that made me happy to see. There was also a roll of washi tape with tiny little cactus on it and the cover minder I forgot to take it out of the bag, It's a black witches hat that say Basic Witch ;) also the card pictured was in a envelope with my name on it with a hand written note. The pen is a really light blue with sparkles(glitter) in it , a 12 placer and a single placer was in the organza bag as well. The pen was wrapped in beautiful paper and with bubble wrap inside of a shiny bag.

 Go show this little company some love. I can tell they put their hearts into making these items for us to enjoy. I'll say this again" This company will go far because they care about thier customers and the products they sell.

Being an Introvert

This post is not for pity or seeking acknowledgement in the blog world or the youtube world.

 This is me and how I am. I am a introvert, I don't like the sound of my voice when recorded. I don't like having my picture taken. I've been this way since I was a small child. This is why you haven't "seen" me or "heard " me in any videos. You have seen my hands which I am fine with. My problem comes from being bullied in school with how I look and sound. I can't change any of that ( my looks) or the (sound of my voice) and I am fine with it. In fact I refuse to change because if people don't like me or understand why I am the way I am, That's on them. I prefer keeping out of the "spotlight"..... I however do speak my mind when I need to. I do continue to read & watch & make comments on other blogs and videos, Sorry I don't do more but life has a way of getting in the way and I don't always have a chance to comment.

 My hope is that everyone understands me and how I am.
