Hello again all, I hope this finds you doing as well as expected with all the craziness in the world.
I've been doing some weaving again and still in the learning phase, need to work on the tension big time.
Any tips and tricks I should take into consideration???
I've weaved 4 squares to be used to make a blanket with some yarn that I am not using for now.
Like with cross stitching, you can never have enough yarn stash :) It's a start
This isn't including what I have kitted up in swedish weaving projects...
2 of these squares won't be used in the blanket, the white one(left) is made using 100% cotton yarn
the 2nd one was made using the cotton yarn as the warp and color is Patons Classic Wool Roving(beside the white). It will come apart after a while and I don't want the blanket messed up so I'm going to try and find another teal color
Takes around 30 minutes to weave 1 square starting with warping the loom then weaving.....
That's all I have for now
Until Next time Happy Stitching and May you have smokin' needles...xxx
Very interesting, I have never used a loom, I am looking forward to seeing the finished blanket.
