A FINISH! First one for 2016

FINAL UPDATE 2 - 16 - 2016 - I finished finished this one! I do believe I may start making my own frames. Found the wood I used at Lowe's Home Improvement Store. So with out further ado here it is. I'm happy that the idea I had in my mind turned out like I wanted it to. I added silver bells and made 2 tiny bows. Keeping in the theme of Christmas Carols - 12 Days of Christmas and Silver Bells :) Now onto other projects. Happy Stitching! ~ C.'s Cross Stitch Creations~

I started working on Plum Street Samplers Sunday Mystery SAL on Oct. 29th 2015. Had a few life issues and wasn't able to finish it before Christmas last year like I wanted to. So I finally finished it this month , Now I have pulled out the Stardust Fairy by Joan Elliott and planning on working on it.

Working on a finish finish for this one.  I  picked the material out and waited for an idea to come to me and it has finally. So without further ado the progress on a finish. I've decided on a wall hanging but with a twist, It's going to be framed. I made the frame using 1/4" x 1 1/2" pieces of wood, I'm in the process of covering the wood with the material  I got for the border and back.

Progress on covering the frame.

Waiting on the glue to dry, taking my time with this one. I've planned on putting quilt batting behind the stitched piece as well a maybe a stiff board ( foam board) then covering the whole back with the same material I am using on the frame ( picked up from Wal-Mart)

More updates to come next time - Meanwhile Happy Stitching! ~ C. Cross Stitch Creations~
